Join AIP Collective & Traditional Cultural Practices and help install Solar Power on the remote Ha'apai School, in the Solomon Islands.

We will be sailing to New Georgia Island, in the Solomons in April to install solar on the newly renovated school building. It will be the first school in the country to have solar, helping this remote community redirect school funding previously used on expensive generators, fuel and repairs to empower community education.

The village relies on subsistence farming from their community gardens, harvesting from land and sea, therefore generators are expensive to run and maintain. We are supporting the school to install solar power, so they can direct these funds into educational programs, books and supplies for the benefit of Ha'apai School children. Their school services five villages fringing the Roviana Lagoon, and is an essential eduction pathway for young children in the region.

Ha’apai Village is a small village on the Roviana Lagoon in the remote New Georgia Island, and sits in 500 hectares of virgin rainforest. The nearest services are two hours away by boat.

Your contribution helps install solar power on the school and train local electricians to maintain the system. Any additional funds raised will be used to help build Ha'apai School a library for their students.

Join us to empower education in the Solomon Islands. Every donation helps!
