GSU Industrial Action Solidarity Fund
Graduate Students United's Solidarity Fund
In October 2017, 1103 graduate student workers voted in favor of unionization by a margin of more than 2-to-1. Since then, the top administration has refused to honor the results of the vote and to recognize our union. In May 2019, 1134 GSU members, representing 91% of those voting, elected to authorize an industrial action, which started on June 3rd, 2019.
Support us in our fight for recognition, for honoring graduate workers' voice, and for upholding our right to unionize.
The fund is managed by our Industrial Action Committee. The Committee was formed by members for the purpose of this work action. All donations go toward carrying out action, and compensating our members who might be financially harmed as a result of retaliation.
We wholeheartedly appreciate your solidarity and support!

Was going to donate this to the senior class gift to go to the UchicaGO party during alumni weekend, but this seems like a much better use of my money. Solidarity with all the grad student instructors, TAs, and mentors I have had during my time here.
