Goal
*UPDATE*: Due to recovering from an injury sustained whilst training, I have deferred my entry and will now be completing my walking challenge as part of the North Downs 50 Event taking place on Saturday 12th July.
My goal remains the same - to walk for 14 hours and 31 minutes (the time it takes to drive from Lahore to Karachi) along the route.
As in previous years I will be raising funds for Starfish Asia.
This year the focus is on Zeenat School based in a poor suburb of Lahore. It’s a struggling community with parents working as domestic help, in factories or sanitary workers. These parents cannot afford to send their children to school, leaving them illiterate and destined for low-wage, labour-intensive jobs.
The school costs around £450 a month to run, which means it costs as little as £2.50 a month to give a child an education at this school.
By contributing either a donation or a small monthly amount the cycle of poverty can be reversed.

Thanks so much Zulfia for your donation when you heard that I was walking in support of the children of Pakistan.
