Goal

350-mile Cycle across the width of Ireland!

Following the success of last year, I have decided to challenge myself once more and will be taking part in the Great Starfish Trail.

This time I will cycle from the western extremity of Ireland, near Dingle County Kerry, to Ballyhalbert in County Down, which is the eastern extremity of the island.
This is a journey of aprox 350 miles and will take me 4 days.

I will set off on Tuesday 20th August and hope to reach the finish on Friday 23rd of August

I have followed with interest the work of Starfish Asia in recent years and am impressed with their commitment to the children of Asia in a Christian context.  I believe it is very important that we should not just be mindful of the poor, especially Christians, in other countries, but we should be willing to give practical help as we are able.  I am very aware that materially I am part of the very privileged West and we are often more concerned with our own challenges, when Christian Communities in countries like Pakistan live in the most limited of conditions and with few opportunities

Any sponsorship I receive will go towards supporting the education of marginalised Christian children.
