Yorkshire 3 Peaks and Tonbridge Half Marathon

In many places around the world, distance to a school can prove a critical factor in whether a child receives a full education or not. This is also the situation in Pakistan. On average, children in rural Punjab travel 2-3kms per day to attend school, often through undesirable surroundings (ASER report 2021). Over the course of a week that equates to 20km. For longer distances and for safety they would need to take expensive private transport. This is why it’s so vital to support local schools within easy reach of children’s homes.

For this year’s Great Starfish Trail, I'm planning to take on TWO challenges one at the start of the period and one at the end. 

14th September 2024 - Yorkshire 3 Peaks

https://www.threepeakschallenge.uk/yorkshire-three-peaks-challenge/  The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. The route covers a distance of around 45Km.

29th September 2024 - The Tonbridge Half Marathon https://www.runthrough.co.uk/event/run-kent-tonbridge-half-marathon-10k-5k-2024/ I am signed up to do the HALF MARATHON! 

Last year I covered 42 Km in total over the fortnight and raised almost £800. This year I'm going further and it'll be more gruelling so please be generous!
