From Birmingham to Rome... on 2 wheels!!
Hi my name is Alec, I’m 19 years old and I will be cycling from Birmingham to Rome and back for a great charity called Starfish Asia, as part of the Great Starfish Trail.
Starfish Asia help to support schools in some of the poorest Christian communities in Pakistan.
The entire journey will be about 3000 miles (4800 km) and will take me around 2 months to complete.
I will set off on Tuesday 5th September! I'm going to be camping along the way and stopping off at a a hostel or a hotel every week, as well as in towns every couple of days to replenish supplies.
