Gratitude & Growth: Reimagine

Giving Thanks & Looking Ahead

As we close out 2026, this quarter's campaign is to focus on Gratitude & Growth. We are choosing to give thanks for what our community built this year and invite people to help build what comes next. Every gift made this season funds TNE's 2027 work before the year even begins.

In 2027, our theme is Unlearn & Reclaim. The first half of the year names the theology, systems, and narratives that caused harm: shame, whiteness in the church, silence, fear, shame about our bodies, and exclusion. The second half moves toward restoration. We'll reclaim voice, joy, community, justice, hope, and a faith people choose rather than inherit. Real change requires honest examination, and in 2027 we're asking our community to go deeper with us.

Key Initiatives & Impact

This campaign funds what we're creating to meet that moment. That includes:

• New free courses

• New Educational Starter Packs each month

• New How-To Resources

It also funds two new storytelling series: What I Unlearned, where community members share the beliefs and systems they had to let go of, and What I Reclaimed, where they share what they found, built, and took back. It also launches a new chapter for The New Evangelicals Podcast and continues our efforts with Advocacy Hour and The Tim and April Show. 

Investing in Community

Beyond content, this campaign invests in community. Year-end gifts will support quarterly Liturgy of Care gatherings, book clubs aligned with each half of the year, conversation circles in TNE Connect, and our signature workshops for churches and organizations ready to do this work in their own communities.

Our goal is to enter 2027 fully resourced to do the work ahead. We believe a faith rooted in the way of Jesus keeps moving toward compassion, justice, and care for our neighbors, and that unlearning what harmed us makes room to reclaim what was always ours.

All funds raised during this campaign will directly support TNE's 2027 educational programming, storytelling initiatives, community-building efforts, workshops, and accessible faith-based content designed to remain free and available to the public.

Our Fundraising Goal: $100,000

This quarter, we are raising $100,000 to expand our storytelling and cultural impact by creating narrative-shifting media.
