“Why I’m Running 1,054km for Grab Life By The Balls”

This October, I’m taking on the biggest challenge of my life.

For 31 consecutive days, starting October 1st I’ll run 34km every single day from Picnic Point Boat Ramp to the Mooloolaba Rock Wall, completing the out-and-back route twice each day. By the end of the month, I’ll have covered 1,054km the equivalent distance from the Sunshine Coast to the Sydney Opera House.

Mental health and suicide have impacted my life in ways I never imagined. I’ve battled my own mental health, and there was a time when I nearly lost my life to it. I’ve also lost people to suicide and I know the heartbreak that leaves behind.

Today, I’m grateful to be here.

Running became more than exercise, it became therapy. It gave me purpose, discipline, and hope when I needed it most. Every kilometre I run reminds me that even the hardest days can be overcome by simply taking one more step.

That’s why I’m raising $10,000 for Grab Life By The Balls.

Their work is helping change the conversation around mental health, encouraging people to speak up, seek support, and know they’re never alone. If this challenge helps even one person choose one more day, every blister, sore muscle, and day I run will be worth it.

Throughout October, I’ll show the reality of the journey, the good days, the hard days, the fatigue, the setbacks, and the victories. Just like life, it won’t always be easy, but I’ll keep putting one foot in front of the other.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, thank you. Every contribution helps support the incredible work Grab Life By The Balls is doing to improve mental health and suicide prevention. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser or simply checking in on someone you care about can make just as much of a difference.

Together, let’s remind people that hope is real, help is available, and no one has to face their struggles alone.

One step. One kilometre. One conversation. One more day. ❤️

Keep fighting the good fight.
