The Yard Gym Mooloolaba – Supporting Grab Life By The Balls
At The Yard Gym Mooloolaba, we’ve always believed that a strong community is about much more than training together. It’s about looking out for one another, building genuine friendships and having people around you who will ask, “How are you really going?”
That’s why this year we’re incredibly proud to be raising funds for Grab Life By The Balls and their work supporting boys’ and men’s mental health and wellbeing through mateship, connection and community.
For many men, talking about mental health or admitting they’re struggling doesn’t come easily. Sometimes the most important first step isn’t a formal conversation — it’s simply having somewhere to belong, a mate to talk to, a laugh together, or someone who notices when things aren’t quite right.
That message really resonates with us at The Yard Gym Mooloolaba.
Our gym has always been built around community. We see firsthand how training together creates friendships, conversations and support networks that extend well beyond the gym walls. We want every man in our community to know that strength isn’t about dealing with everything on your own. Sometimes strength is putting your hand up, starting a conversation or checking in on a mate.
Through our annual Charity Golf Day, we’re bringing our community together for a great day of golf, laughs and mateship while raising money for a cause that can make a genuine difference in the lives of boys and men.
Last year, our incredible Yard community came together and raised $4,540 for the Leukaemia Foundation. This year, we would love to go even bigger for Grab Life By The Balls.
Every donation, no matter the amount, contributes to their work creating opportunities for men to connect, build friendships and have conversations that matter.
If you’re able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. And if you can’t donate, you can still make a difference — check in on a mate, start a conversation and remind the men around you that they don’t have to do life alone.
