The Gay Professional Network is proud to be supporting Stonewall Housing, the UK's leading LGBTQ+ homelessness charity.

Founded in 1983, Stonewall Housing provides specialist housing advice, advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They have specialisms in Mental Health, Domestic Abuse, Substance Misuse and Supported Accommodation.

They support thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer (LGBTQ+) people in the UK every year.

All of their services are free and confidential.

A recent case that Stonewall Housing worked on involved Tate, an 18-year-old gay man from Bristol. Facing domestic abuse and threats of revenge porn from his partner, Tate needed urgent assistance. "Suddenly I felt I had no options, it went from bad to worse so quickly."

Stonewall Housing worked with Tate to relocate him to a safe environment and away from his abuser - "as soon as I told them what I'd been through, they didn't judge me - they knew how they could help me and talked me through it all. They kept me safe."

The donations raised through the support of the members of the Gay Professional Network will help to ensure that Stonewall Housing can continue to offer their vital support - protecting the rights and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people like Tate who are facing or experiencing homelessness.

Thank you.
