As we prepare for our Spring 2022 opening, First Tee West Texas a 501c3 nonprofit is in need of various items and equipment to properly outfit our new range, short game area, and Ben Crenshaw - James E. Wright-designed golf course. We have hundreds of kids and teens who are eager to get started or continue learning and playing this great game. Will you help us? Our facility includes a 500,000 sq. ft driving range, 200,000 sq. ft. short game area, 12,000 sq. ft. putting green, and a 7,800 sq. ft. chipping green with a sand bunker. We also have a unique 6-hole golf course consisting of two par 4's and four par 3's. Our greens are surfaced with 007 bentgrass and the fairways, approaches, and other irrigated areas are planted with Celebration hybrid Bermuda grass. This will make for excellent - firm and fast playing conditions.
With your generous support we'll be ready to open and welcome our First Tee participants, MISD and Greenwood ISD HS golf teams, and Midland College golf team at the course. Our facility will be available to all golfers looking to practice and or play a quick 6-holes.
