CCI GLP3 - Support our Participants!

I’m Sam Martinez, a passionate Mexican who loves camp ministry.

I was born into a family of camp directors, so camp has been a significant part of my life and spiritual formation. I serve at a camp in Monterrey, Mexico, called Camp Sierra Linda, where I grew up as a camper and eventually became the program director. I’ve also had the opportunity to serve at different camps in various countries, meeting wonderful people and learning many valuable life lessons. Some of these camps include Lakeside in Ohio, Deerfoot, Honey Rock, Roble Alto in Costa Rica, Karku in Finland, Haiti, and Camp Duffel in different states across Mexico.

In 2018, I began serving on the national board of CCI Mexico, and in 2023, I became the President of CCI México. God has been teaching me about the beauty of this ministry on so many levels, opening my eyes to the incredible global community using camps to bring people closer to Jesus and to equip leaders with more tools to serve Him. However, the more I learn, the more I realize how much more there is to learn.

Right now, I have the opportunity to be part of the Global Leadership Program through CCI Worldwide. I know this will be a significant opportunity for growth and inspiration to continue serving in Mexico alongside other leaders, sharing what I learn, and discovering what other plans God has for my life.

This program requires a financial investment, both for the program itself and for the expenses related to traveling to Malaysia, where the in-person classes will take place. This presents a challenge for me, and if you feel led to contribute financially, I would be immensely grateful for your support. Your contribution would have a meaningful impact on the ministry God is accomplishing through my life.

Starting in April 2025 we will be running our 3rd Cohort of the Global Leadership Program and we invite you to help our participants be able to take part in the program - for both online training and the in-person residential.
