Global Pregnancy Collaboration
The goal of the Global Pregnancy Collaboration (CoLab) (https://pregnancycolab.tghn.org/workshops/) is to improve the health of mothers and their infants by facilitating pregnancy research through collaboration and the sharing of data, ideas and biological samples. We sponsor an annual workshop to explore research areas that we feel have not received sufficient attention. We are particularly committed to achieving these goals in low-resource settings in which we have 16 centers. Specifically, CoLab investigators work with investigators from these low-resource centers to obtain external funding and to assist as advisors on funded projects. We have generated over two million dollars in external funding for these centers thus far.
CoLab is a self-supporting group. We depend on external funding to support this critical work. Your donations at any level are appreciated and will allow CoLab to present these workshops and to continue our efforts to enable data sharing and collaboration.
In relationship to our “Facilitating Pregnancy Health Research: Innovative Strategies” series:
— Donations $50 or over will receive a recording of the meeting in gratitude for the donation (a recording of this session is available at no charge for low-resource investigators)
— Donations of over $200 will receive a recording of the two-day workshop from October 4-5, 2021, titled “Inequities in Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes: What Next for Research?”
If you have questions or you are an investigator from a low-resource center who would like the recording from the current seminar or need further information, please contact Margaret Armstrong at [email protected].
