In the wake of catastrophic disasters—most recently Hurricane Melissa, which devastated communities across Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic—our team has been on the ground offering vital psychosocial support. In Haiti, we were often the only organization present, sitting with broken families, listening to stories of unimaginable loss, and helping people begin to make meaning out of senseless tragedy.

One of our coaches recently shared the heartbreaking story of a young adolescent girl now living with her grandmother after losing her mother and three siblings.
