Giving Tuesday 2024
It's the day of giving back. In 2020, we launched the Americana Music Foundation (AMF), our non-profit 501(c)(3) with a mission to preserve and educate people on the beloved art form we know today as Americana music.
We continue that mission through our music industry conference at AMERICANAFEST, our work with the Smithsonian National Museum of American History our ongoing partnership with NYU Steinhardt and the Americana Artists-In-Residency program that educates students on the value of music through a series of lectures, workshops, and classroom visits throughout the academic year.
This year we also launched our AMERICANAFEST Grant program to give creatives the opportunity to benefit from the insightful panels, seminars, discussions, and exclusive performances. Administered by our partners at the Salt Lick Incubator, the grant provides financial support to attend the event, increase their knowledge, and engage in this rich exchange of ideas with the creative community. The Americana Music Foundation, the charitable arm of the Americana Music Association, has matched generous contributions from donors to create this fund.
How You Can Help
None of this would've been possible without our community's support. That said, today we're asking for your help to continue our foundation's ongoing initiatives into 2025 and beyond.
About the Foundation
The Americana Music Foundation (AMF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational and charitable organization, was founded to preserve Americana music through education. Its endeavors strengthen understanding, awareness and appreciation of cultural heritage, shine a light on inspiration, and promote the capacity and engagement of future creators. The foundation accomplishes this mission through educational programs, musical performances and public events. Throughout the year, its partnership with The Americana Music Association focuses on the preservation of past legacies and traditions that spotlight Americana music’s heritage, while also looking ahead to ensure the future of the community’s generations to come.
