Help us to make roads safer for everyone

Too many lives continue to be lost or forever changed on Ontario's roads. Imagine a future where every journey on two wheels is not just a trip but a safe passage for all.

Through impactful public education campaigns, its Bicycle Friendly Communities program for municipalities that focuses on priorities for safer streets, and relentless advocacy campaigns, the Share the Road Cycling Coalition continues to work towards a future where there is respect between all road users, and cycling is a source of joy, freedom, and choice.

Over the past 18 years, we have successfully made the case for legislative changes in including the 1m safe passing law, Canada's first Vulnerable Road User legislation in 2017, #CycleON: Ontario's Cycling Strategy and for more than $125 million in provincial cycling infrastructure funding for municipalities.

More recently, we have shared our significant concerns about Bill 212, and shared data directly with the provincial government that shows that bike lanes are important now more than ever to save lives, enhance livability, and reduce congestion.

But, it is clear that we still have a lot of work to do, and we need your support.

With an election coming this spring, we are mobilizing communities across the province to ensure that cyclists' voices are heard in local campaigns. Your donations can make a difference in your community and at Queen's Park. Every dollar counts - make a donation today and receive a charitable tax receipt for amounts over $20.

Together, we can turn our vision into reality - by making Ontario's roads safer for everyone.
