Giving Heart Afrika is a community-based organisation registered in Uganda.
At the core of our mission is the wellbeing of children—creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where they can grow up with confidence, support, and the joy every childhood deserves.
Our little ones—80 of them—face big challenges, from hunger to a lack of necessities, and yet they carry on with even bigger smiles.
With every donation—even the smallest one—together, we can begin to improve their lives.

Our main goals:

🍲 Food & Nutrition

Because hunger and malnutrition are everyday realities. 

How we do it:
We’ve bought 4 acres of land and have already sown the first seeds. Our dream is to grow our own food and become self-sufficient.

 Your donation:
Until we can harvest, we need to buy food. Later, we’ll still need to ensure balanced meals. That’s where you come in.

📚 Education & Resources

Because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream.

 How we do it:
We ensure every child receives education crucial for cognitive and emotional development—guided by Sunbeams Uganda school.

 Your donation:
Helps us pay the fees, buy school supplies, so each child can learn, write, and draw a sunshine. It also funds tutoring and extracurriculars—because our children deserve equal opportunities.

🏥 Healthcare

Because staying healthy is not a privilege—it’s a right.

 How we do it:
We build a health care centre for our community. We create a clean and healthy living space, with a big garden for future self-sustainability. We provide testing, medicine, and have an emergency fund in case of illness.

 Your donation:
Directly contributes to these efforts. It buys medicine, pays for testing, and helps us build and maintain health care facilities.

This fundraiser is coordinated by a Europe-based manager on behalf of a registered community-based organisation in Uganda. A portion of funds supports essential coordination and administrative work (including compliance, reporting, and donor communication), while the majority directly funds food, education, healthcare, and housing for the children. A reserve is maintained to ensure stability during periods of low donations. Full transparency is provided through updates and reporting.
