The Give Water Project

The Give Water Project is a community-based clean water initiative working to expand access to clean, safe, and sustainable water in underserved rural communities across Uganda. Established to address the everyday challenges caused by unsafe and unreliable water sources, Give Water Project focuses on solutions that improve health, education, and long-term opportunity.

Many families in rural Uganda still depend on distant or contaminated water sources, spending hours each day collecting water that can make them sick. These challenges disproportionately affect women, children, schools, and health facilities—limiting education, productivity, and community development.

Give Water Project works alongside local leaders, technicians, and community members to implement water solutions that match local needs and conditions. Our projects include new borehole wells, borehole rehabilitation, rainwater collection systems, solar-mechanized water systems, household water connections, and hygiene and sanitation support such as handwashing stations.

Through donations, sponsorships, and community-led fundraising efforts, Give Water Project supports water projects that are designed for long-term use and local ownership. Each project emphasizes community engagement, basic training, and sustainability—helping ensure water systems continue serving communities well beyond installation.
