Camp Founder Girls Legacy Fund

The CFG Legacy Fund continues the bold promise of Camp Founder Girls (CFG) to ensure that every camper has access to the beauty, wonder, and transformative power of summer camp. Since its founding in 1924 as America's first historically Black summer camp for girls, CFG has boldy ensured that no financial barriers prevent a young person from experiencing the magic of summer overnight camp

Today, this vision remains is even more critical, as Black girls remainreamin the most historically underrepresented demographic in summer camping while summer enrichment opportunities have increased in cost for families. The CFG Legacy Fund directly addresses this disparity and by providing  financial aid to campers and families who would otherwise be unable to afford the full cost of Camp Founder Girls.

Your generous donation to the CFG Legacy Fund directly helps young Black girls by providing them with life-changing summer experiences, fostering personal growth, and creating lasting memories with friends from communities across our state and country.

Help us continue the legacy of Camp Founder Girls and ensure that every camper, regardless of their financial background, receivesreceive the transformative power of summer camp. Your contribution to the CFG Legacy Fund makes a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young Black girls, shaping future leaders and fostering a more equitable and inclusive summer camp experience.
