The Shelby County Schools Education Foundation is dedicated to providing additional funding to Shelby County Schools in Alabama. This Spring, the Foundation has awarded over $50,000 in Inspire the Journey Grants to classrooms throughout the district. We are committed to meeting the needs of our educators and ensuring that our students receive an excellent education. 

The Shelby County Schools Education Foundation was founded in 1992 to offer additional financial support to all 31 schools in the Shelby County School system. Our mission is to support, enhance and recognize excellence in education in order to provide our students an engaging, innovative and elevated education experience. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
