Goal

We’re back!

In memory of Jack, we are kicking off this year’s fundraising efforts with three events:

-  City2Surf group event on 10th August

-     Hunter Hordern completing the Sydney Marathon on 31st August

-  Tom Molloy completing the Melbourne 70.3 half Ironman on 9th November

Registration is open for the City2Surf, we welcome you to sign up to the ‘Jack’s team - CRBF’ group and join the crew of runners and walkers!

Your donations will be directed to The Jack Gibson Sarcoma Patient and Family Support Program.

The mission of Jack’s program is to improve the experience of a sarcoma diagnosis for patients & families in Australia – a cause close to Jack’s heart. In particular, Jack wanted to support the most vulnerable sarcoma patients (e.g. those in regional and remote communities who have added barriers to care and support).

The Program has two core activities, firstly to raise funds for patients and families in need, and secondly to raise awareness of sarcoma, a rare cancer not well known or understood, and in so doing improve early detection, diagnosis and hence survival and care options for sufferers.

Donations made to Jack’s program will be directed to a corpus to guarantee the longevity of the programme which will use these funds for providing financial relief for sarcoma patients and their families, to support critical needs such as but not limited to:

-          Transport, accommodation food and carer expense

-        Financial assistance for medications, dietary needs, disability and specialised equipment costs, ancillary treatments, physiotherapy, psychology, rehabilitation, pathology, surgery, additional consultations

-          Assistance with palliative care and funeral expenses

The Program exists under the auspices of the Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation, details of which can be found at crbf.org.au/patientsupport

The Cooper Rice-Brading Foundation (ABN: 50623689109) is a registered Australian Charity with Deductible Gift Recipient status. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible. Should you have any queries about your donation please send an email to info@crbf.org.au.
