Empowering girls by introducing them to the exciting possibilities of STEM careers
Girls Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (GESTEM) is an exciting event that introduces middle school girls to the wide range of opportunities in potential careers in STEM fields through hands-on workshops and interactions with engineering professionals. RMS hosts up to 1000 girls, at no cost to the girls to attend.

Event Goals:
  • Identify and strategically invite young women that may not have exposure to STEM in their current school or home atmosphere
  • Demonstrate how STEM careers use math and teamwork to solve problems where helping people is an integral part of STEM careers
  • Demonstrate that innovation requires diversity in gender, ethnicity, religion, culture and many other factors

GESTEM is presented entirely by volunteers, and we rely on the generosity of corporate sponsors, grants, and individual donors to fund this project. GESTEM is 100% free for attendees.

Thank you for supporting GESTEM!
