Goal

We’re lifting science to new heights. This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching an effort that means a lot to us: raising $100,000 to strengthen our research and conservation facilities.

We’re building the first Rainforest Canopy Observatory in the Mamoní Valley and connecting it to the Motus Wildlife Tracking System, a global system across 30+ countries that tracks the movements of tagged birds, bats, and other species. It gives us real data on how wildlife is moving and how ecosystems are changing.

Adding Mamoní to this network is a major step!

Here’s what your support makes possible:

  • A canopy observatory where researchers, students, and indigenous partners can study the forest at the level where most life actually exists.
  • Hands-on training and field research that helps people understand the rainforest by being in it, not looking at it from a distance.
  • Better information to safeguard species and habitats as the climate shifts.
  • A permanent lab space for researchers and students.
  • Connect the research centre to Motus Wildlife Tracking System, a global network across 30+ countries that tracks the movements of tagged birds. It gives us real data on how wildlife is moving and how ecosystems are changing.

This project strengthens science, education, and conservation in one place, and it opens the door for so many young people to experience the rainforest in a way they’ll never forget.
