George and Jean Thompson Douglas Scholarship Fund

Traveling from their home in Texas to Webster County for a high school reunion, George and Jean Douglas discussed establishing a scholarship. This endowment would generate scholarship income for a Webster County High School senior who will attend a four year, accredited college in West Virginia, working towards a baccalaureate degree. Residents and friends of Webster County made contributions to meet this generous challenge opportunity. Mr. Douglas passed away suddenly in April 2012.
