Donations to the general fund are vital to the success of Pioneer Village Museum! The historic buildings are in constant need of maintenance and repair. This includes work on roofs, windows, and doors. Occasionally there is structural work needed as well. We are fortunate to have volunteers who generously donate their time and skills, greatly reducing the cost of labor, however we still need to buy materials, and hire professionals for some of the work. The exhibit buildings also require a great deal of upkeep. In addition to the buildings, the exhibits themselves are constantly being created, changed, and made more “visitor friendly.” So when you ask, “where do my donation dollars go”, you can rest assured that you'll be able to see your dollars at work, every place you look, once you enter the museum gates.
