My friend gave me cash for an anticipatory grief therapy session with Pet Loss Community. PLC refunded me this week because of your generous partnership. My friend and I agreed to donate it back to you all for being such a terrific organization. Thank you for your sponsorship and for helping me through this difficult time as my dog Winston battles hemangiosarcoma. It's been the most difficult time of my life

I cannot adequately explain the series of events that brought Tiki into our lives and the condition that we found him in. He came to us with 8-9 cancerous nodules on his underside. Not only had we not been looking for a second dog but one that came to us in such a heart breaking manner. We decided that he would join our family as a forever home. Live Like Roo stepped in really out of no where and helped us get Tiki the surgery he needed. Today, the stitches came out and for the first time we were able to give him a belly rub. He was one happy dog and we are over the moon to have him join our family. There are no words to express our gratitude to Live Like Roo. It is beyond words. We have one part pit bull (which I had said I would never have. Never say never I guess) and pointer I believe. He has adjusted to all the changes, has a new friend in Sammy our first dog, and shows his happiness by wagging his tail so hard his whole body shakes. He has been through a lot in his life, surviving the Lahaina fires, being moved around from place to place with his owner, living in small hotel rooms, then the loss of his owner. He deserved a forever home, not an animal shelter and between us and Live Like Roo he IS living his best live.
