Goal
“It took me seven attempts to finally escape.”
“When people say it takes seven attempts for a woman to leave, they often refer to the victim returning to the abuser. In my case, escaping from a severe domestic violence abuser, who also exploited me through what is known as labor trafficking, took that many attempts to finally break free.
The last time, he escalated from physical violence to attempted murder, and he was always armed. I am intimately aware of the dangers involved in both domestic violence and trafficking crimes, as well as the threat of gun violence. I know I am lucky to be alive today, while others didn’t make it out.”
— Yolanda, Survivor and Founder of Free To Fly
Today, we’re dedicated to providing free, safe exit flights for survivors of crime. Your support can make all the difference in helping someone reclaim their life and reach safety. Together, we can help survivors find refuge, begin anew, and pursue justice against their traffickers. Free To Fly directly handles every call we receive from Homeland Security Investigations and the Department of Justice, serving as a trusted partner law enforcement can count on.
A contribution of $500 sponsors and provides one emergency flight for a victim. Join us in making a tax-deductible contribution to help save lives.
We have goal to raise for 10 more flights then what we currently have for the month of December.
Free To Fly, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
