Goal
Since mobilizing in March 2020, we have distributed 748,272 pounds of healthy food options to the most at risk in our community. That's almost 3 million servings of food have supported over 500 families through the long road of COVID-19 pandemic. All families served by the GDP are low income, 78% have a senior member of their household, 72% have a family member managing a chronic disease. Just under half of our families have children.
As we stand at the beginning of the last mile of our COVID response programming, we are humbly asking you for help. While we see the end, there is still a road to be traveled. Many of our COVID Grocery Delivery Program clients continue to have limited options to help them mitigate their COVID risks. In addition, they are now experiencing compounded grief, anxiety, and stress from a year of change and uncertainty. We are committed to standing in solidarity with our clients through the summer - and to keep them connected to fresh, healthy food through our regular programming after that.
From April 1-17, we're hoping to raise $15,000 to continue the Grocery Delivery Program. Can you help us reach our goal?
