GCV Women's Center of Hope
Across Gaza, displaced women are holding families together without privacy, stability, or reliable income. Many are widows, single mothers, or caregivers to the 8,500 orphaned and war injured children served through our Academies of Hope. The Women’s Centers for Hope were created to meet this urgent need. Located beside each academy, the centers form a unified Family Campus where mothers can drop their children at school and step into a secure, women led space designed exclusively for them. Here, dignity is restored, community is rebuilt, and practical pathways to income begin.
Each center is built around three integrated zones. The Me Zone restores privacy and dignity through safe access to showers, hygiene supplies, and private bookable spaces for rest and safety. The Community Zone creates a supportive environment for small group connection, mentoring, and solidarity among women navigating displacement. The Empowerment and Learning Zone provides hands on vocational workshops alongside structured classroom based training in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. This training is delivered in partnership with Challenge to Change, a regional leader in women’s empowerment with over a decade of experience supporting more than 20,000 women across the Middle East. Through its specialized curriculum and Gaza based trainer network, Challenge to Change ensures high impact instruction that builds confidence, economic independence, and long term self reliance.
Gaza Children’s Village, an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit, currently operates five fully functional academies serving over 8,500 children with daily education, meals, medical access, and psychosocial care. This proven operational capacity, alongside formal authorization to operate in Gaza, ensures resilient deployment, financial oversight, and delivery against clear monthly performance indicators. The Women’s Centers for Hope are designed as a lean, high impact intermediate program to prevent exploitation and establish sustainable income generation for vulnerable women.
