Goal
Help Us Rebuild Life in Gaza
With your help, we will install permanent desalination units in Al Maghza & Exbet Beit Hanoun, providing a lasting solution to the water crisis in Gaza.
£16,000 will provide consistent water to over 20,000 Gazans.
Every single donation, no matter how small - is one step closer to Gaza having clean water on a consistent basis. Together, we will help distribute water into twenty water tanks around the Strip that will provide clean drinking water to over 20,000 Gazans.
97% OF WATER IS UNSUITABLE
97% of freshwater is unsuitable for human consumption, and raw sewage pours into the Mediterranean Sea. Access and facilities to clean water, function only on a limited basis due to Israeli control. Gaza doesn’t have enough electricity to treat its own sewage, and as a result, 3.5 million cubic feet of raw and partially treated sewage flows into the Mediterranean every day.
Our Aim: To fund the digging of a deep water bore which is connected to a desalination unit. This allows the residents access to clean water. The water is also used to fill out water trucks which distributes to those who cannot come directly to the unit.
This is why every single donation, however small - works towards a more long-lasting, permanent solution.
Donate today, let’s start a permanent change.
