Friends Together is a nonprofit cancer support organization with the mission of helping people impacted by cancer.   Our vision is a community where no one faces cancer alone.  Our annual Gas Card Challenge is kicking off March 1, 2026 and will run through April 30, 2026 with the goal of collecting funds to help offset the costs of medical related transportation for our northeastern MI "friends".  Whether it is travel to downstate specialist or hospital or five-day a week treatment at our regional cancer center, the cost of travel for patients can really add up.  Each month, Friends Together distributes on average $5,000 in gas cards to help with transportation to cancer related care.  Your donation (BIG or small) will go a long way toward helping fuel their cancer journey with love and their tanks with gas.   We gladly accept online donations, but you can also drop off gas cards from any brand in any denomination or send donations by mail to:
