Gandalf needs help to Save his Boar Barn! 🐗

The big man, Gandalf, at BENEATH THE WOOD SANCTUARY needs help!

We very urgently need to raise or borrow £85'000 to buy the Boar Barn and attached land 😭

Our landlady has to sell and needs the money almost immediately due to her own difficult financial situation. 

The only way to keep these huge boys safe is for us buy their barn. 

This Barn has been home to our huge beautiful boars for the last 6 years. For which we are very grateful to our vegan landlady Catherine. Without this barn or with a new owner, the boys lives will be at risk.

They are the only herd of non castrated, giant sized rescued boars in the UK. 

These huge boys are gentle and very precious. They are survivors of extreme cruelty and starvation in an illegal slaughterhouse.

Due to the horrendous environment they were rescued from they are under a Defra disease restriction. 

Which means they cannot go into the food chain. They are also restricted to this barn by Defra and cannot be moved without their authorisation and their approval of another long term, secure location for them.

Sadly we do not have any suitable space for them at the main sanctuary site. 

They need a large barn and concrete floor.

Trying to raise the money to buy their existing home is the only way to keep them safe.
