GameTime Charity
At the GameTime Charity, we’re thrilled to be making a real difference in the community! We’re already underway, bringing smiles, skills, and confidence to children through our unique sports programs. We’ve seen firsthand how much impact GameTime can have, and it’s our mission to ensure that all children, regardless of their circumstances, can benefit from this experience.
That’s why we’ve established the GameTime Charitable Trust – to provide support to centres in underserved communities where children may not have access to these opportunities. By seeking donations and grants, we’re able to deliver GameTime programs to those who need them most. It’s often in these communities where children benefit the most, gaining not just physical skills but also crucial social development through fun, inclusive play.
Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, we’ve already run over 30 classes at Peninsula Early Learning and Bowen ECE – and the response has been phenomenal! The children are not only having a blast, but they’re also developing important physical and social skills. Teachers and parents have shared how much the kids look forward to GameTime each week, and how it’s making a noticeable difference in their coordination, confidence, and teamwork. These classes have been so successful that both centers are eager to continue, and the families have expressed their gratitude for the positive impact GameTime is having on their children’s overall development. It’s this kind of success that drives us to expand our reach even further!
See below the impact GameTime has on children's development.
Rachel - Centre manager Johnsonville BestStart
Coach Mattie has been coming to Montessori Johnsonville and supporting us with our children's developing ball skills and physical fitness. The children are so excited when he comes and ask their parents and us every day - "Is it Coach Mattie day today?". We are so delighted that he has approached us with this programme and find that not only are the children's ball skills and physical fitness improving, but their listening skills, respect for each other and turn-taking skills are too. His rapport with children is evident and his inclusiveness with all children, regardless of ability or diverse needs, is second to none.

GameTime has been awesome! Thank you so much for all you do for the Tamariki, they absolutely adore you and Thursdays have easily become the favourite day of the week. I've seen so much growth from my child this term and although we are still working through big emotions the fact that you are so open and asking questions about how best to manage his feelings speaks volumes about your professionalism and care for positive outcomes, so a big thank you from me

I wanted to let you know that your formula is well and truly working!! It’s awesome to see how you use creative and kid-friendly concepts to get them trying and mastering skills that are useful, and also skills that are just for a laugh! My child is a pretty physical kid already, but she talks about the concepts you have taught using animals and fun language to extend her understanding and ability in different things that we haven’t tried yet at home.

My daughter has done GameTime with Mattie for about a year and she has loved every minute. She is full of smiles and laughter every class and she regularly plays “GameTime” at home, pretending to be Mattie and reenacting the joy she’s experienced. I highly recommend GameTime to anyone who has a young one.
