We want to bring back the Nerd Market...and it's GAAM, so we want to do it different. We want to make general attendance FREE. That's right. We believe/hope that those who can, will step up and support to help us create opportunities in our community. Once we raise $2000...free for General Attendance.
If we hit $4000...we'll refund the vendors, too. (It's a longshot, but we gotta shoot for it. Here's a link to apply to become a vendor)
IS this possible? Who knows. But we're gonna try! Why so much? 4% platform fees, credit card fees, and then taxes take like 30%. Fundraising is expensive.
We've booked Aloft for Saturday, November 26th, 12-5pm, booked a food truck, so this IS HAPPENING. IT'S now up to you to decide whether this is free for the people.
The GAAM Holiday Nerd Market was created to show support and love for all of the small businesses and creators, in a fun atmosphere, and encourage people to "DO GOOD" and support great causes.
