Future for Phelps PAC

Our mission is to recruit and support candidates for non-partisan public office and issues on the ballot in the Phelps County Area that reflect our core values and contribute to a functioning and representative local government.

We seek to understand the potential impacts of a candidate’s positions and/or an issue’s effects on residents’ lives; and to clearly communicate those impacts to the public so voters can knowledgeably evaluate their choices on election day.

Government is necessary for a civilized society. People must be a part of their government.	Government as a way to gain power or wealth for elected officials. Minority rules.
All people are not the same and we can live with that. All people are deserving of the same rights despite our differences	Mis-treating people or taking away rights of people who are not the same as us in some way.
Logic, rational, thoughtful, and fact-based thinking	Conspiracy theories and fear-mongering
Being truthful in word and action	Propaganda and hypocrisy
