Our Mums on a BUDGET - Australia 🇦🇺  Closed Facebook Group has been run voluntarily for the last 5 years. The demand has grown so immensely that there are now over +146,500 budgeting mums in our group and it needs the support of at least one full time paid person to manage things like:

- managing our Nationwide Facebook group

- managing our newly created STATE Specific Facebook groups

- approve or deny newly joining members (approving or denying)

- current members (closing comments, commenting on posts, monitoring for rule breaking)

- moderators/group experts

- spammers (hourly... spammers from across the world try to infiltrate our group, from crypto to magic spells, to investing in fx)

- making sure that the group is enjoyable and easy to use (guides, topics, organising posts, deleting old/spam/repetitive posts)

- directing members in need to an appropriate helpful source

- updating our free community resource

- securing special discount codes and promo codes to save our members money 

- getting the word out there about new promo codes secured to save our community millions of dollars on an annual basis!

This group has provided thousands of mums from all walks of life and with all different incomes and expenses a FREE forum to connect with like minded mums and to navigate the world of budgeting in these uncertain and expensive times. Whether their situation is single mum on less than $35,000 a year or a married mum with two incomes, a mortgage, car and high expenses and a household income of +$350,000 a year, this group welcomes all budgeting mums. We can learn from each other.

Much thought was put into if the group should be made a subscription only group and the answer is NO. Therefore, the option of a donation, once a year at the amount of anything, including something as small as $3 can accumulate quickly to raise the much needed funds to keep this group growing and all mums within it, who want to learn, thriving. $1 would be nice but the system minimum is $3 (something along the lines of scammers testing random compromised credit cards on websites like this with small amounts like $1 to see if they work) and it can also help to cover the costs lost in transaction fees, processing fees, donor box fees, etc. so the minimum is $3... 

If you have received any value what so ever from this group... example: how to save money on your mortgage rates, how to earn cash back with your online shopping, motivation to keep going, paying down your debts, how to put together a detailed budget, won a gift card from a giveaway, learned that the Barefoot Investor is a must read and it changed your life, that you should reach out to a mortgage broker regarding your situation, etc. then please consider donating. If you cannot afford a donation, it is completely understandable but if you can, please consider both the value you will get in the coming year from this group and the value that other mums who cannot afford to donate will get as well. 

Please note that all donations will be kept confidential so there is no need to feel embarrassed if you can only contribute $3.00. No pressure at all. Pressure is the last thing that a budgeting mum needs. 

This is a trial donation program to see if something like this will work. If the full goal amount is not reached, a part time virtual admin assistant can be obtained until things are sorted on the future of this group. If you have experience being a Facebook admin or moderator and would like to help out our group instead of donating, please reach out. Seeking experienced moderators or admins only at this time as there is currently NO TRAINING AVAILABLE to people on how to moderate or admin a Facebook group.
