WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT NOW

Across Europe, advocating for racial justice and fighting structural racism is becoming increasingly difficult. The rise and normalisation of far-right ideologies and growing repression on social and racial justice work make it increasingly difficult for anti-racist organisations to operate.

Today, the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) is facing one of the most critical moments in its history. An acute funding crisis threatens the continuation of our work supporting over 140 grassroots organisations across Europe. As of today, the renewal of our structural EU grant remains uncertain.

The reality is urgent: without immediate support, ENAR may not have the resources to continue its work beyond the coming months. We need to raise min. 50,000 EUR to continue supporting our network and building a strong anti-racism movement; and 100,000 EUR to pursue our fight against structural racism to hold institutions accountable.
Every contribution helps to effectively dismantle racism and strengthen the movement.

WHAT WE DO

ENAR is the only pan-European network for racial justice, combining EU-level policy advocacy with grassroots capacity-building.

Essential Infrastructure: We connect, coordinate and amplify 140+ grassroots organisations, across 30 countries, providing the backbone to build collective power, secure funding, strengthen skills, and coordinate joint actions.

Strategic Advocacy: We advocate for racial justice at European level, produce evidence-based research and policy analysis that addresses structural racism and intersectional discrimination across digital rights, migration, climate justice, employment, and gender justice

WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING

Over the past years, CCIE has actively participated in numerous ENAR initiatives, which have significantly strengthened our work at national and European levels. ENAR has provided not only coordination and expertise, but also a vital platform for exchange, advocacy, and strategic collaboration among civil society organisations committed to anti-racism. (CCIE, Belgium)

ENAR has been an essential guide in the anti-racism infrastructure at the EU level. (...) ENAR welcomed us and helped us navigate the complex EU ecosystem.
(Asian Voices Europe)

Every day, members of our community are affected by discrimination and exclusion. Being able to rely on a network and years of expertise enables us to fight back and protect and fight for our communities' right to equality and participation. (...) there is no alternative for ENAR, if the EU wants to uphold their claims on fighting racism and providing civil space for everyone.
(Kif Kif, Belgium)

Doing human rights work is extremely tough. You feel exhausted, devastated, mostly alone in the face of cruelty and indifference. Being a part of ENAR means, there are others that can support you, that are going through the same difficulties, and they are always there to give you a friendly touch, a valuable advice, a listening ear, sometimes a shoulder to cry on.
(Human Rights Platform, Cyprus)

ENAR is a network where we get opportunities to learn, build, connect, and be supported. As an ecofeminist organisation and as women and gender minorities (...) we believe that the existence of ENAR is crucial to advance towards a more equal society. (Les Impactices, France)
