Fueling Vanguard - Sponsor A Mile

Hello! My name is Lauren Bristol, and I am contracted as a drum major at Santa Clara Vanguard for the 2024 season! I am so thrilled to be back after long two years for my age out. I am currently at the University of North Texas, going into my senior year as a Music Education major.

Before the incoming 2024 season, I was a drum major for the Vanguard Cadets in 2022, where the corps was awarded the title of DCI Open Class Champions. I was contracted as a drum major for Santa Clara Vanguard in 2023; however, I did not march that season and tested my leadership skills as a Camp Counselor at the Interlochen Center for the Arts during the hiatus. 

Being apart of the Santa Clara Vanguard has given me so much as a leader, musician, and most importantly, as a human being. Becoming part of this legacy has been a dream come true, and I want nothing more than to give back to the corps that has given me so much. I cannot express in words how grateful I am for the opportunity to serve this corps and experience Vanguard Magic one more time. The community and spirit of this corps is one that cannot be broken even the toughest of times, and I am honored to be apart of something so powerful, magical, and so beautifully human.
