Fuel The Rare Life so we can continue to fuel parents and caregivers of those with medical complexities and disabilities!


Your support allows us to continue to provide accessible mental health support for parents living in intense isolation. They will continue to have access to a warm community of fellow caregivers who truly understand their day-to-day, which makes all the difference.

Thanks to donors like you, in the year 2025 we were able to provide:

  • 47 podcast episodes with over 93,000 total listens
  • 20 virtual discussion/support groups
  • 204 social media posts that reached over 500k unique accounts
  • Immeasurable hope, comfort, and validation for the families who need it most

Your donation will work hard for more than 20,000 community members, living in 93 countries throughout the world.


Not only will your donation enable us to continue this important work, but it will allow for significant growth. This year we will produce and distribute our NICU Survival Guide to NICUs throughout the US as a means to support parents during that difficult time and connect them with the community they need through The Rare Life as early as possible. 


We are also thrilled to announce a new podcast series called “Life After The Rare Life” for the growing number of bereaved parents who have lost their medically complex children and find themselves without a community who understands their unique grief. We hope to launch this podcast in Fall 2026.

I found you when my daughter was born with a rare disease and I was looking for any type of community. Her differences thankfully ended up being cosmetic with lifetime observation.
