Established in 1989, the Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden has a mission to work alongside the Wellington City Council to enhance and enrich the Wellington Botanic Garden ki Paekākā so it can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Established in 2019, the Friends of the Botanic Garden Endowment Fund is building a reliable, long-term funding stream to support a range of activities and initiatives. These include helping to promote the development of the Garden, support ongoing projects that enrich the site and foster public interest in its educational, historical, cultural, recreational and scientific significance.
All donations given to the Friends of the Botanic Garden Endowment Fund will be responsibly invested and grown to support the vision of the Friends, forever.
