Friends of Belmont Beach

Belmont Beach is a grassroots Haughville community initiative to reclaim the story of a segregated swimming hole along the White River in Indianapolis and celebrate the resilience of the people and the river that endured in the face of endless harm. 

As a community-funded initiative, we rely on generous supporters to help bring events and maintain the park operations so the community can benefit from having a shared safe space for activities and entertainment.
