Help Save The Mongolian Dogs!

Camp Cocker Rescue is for the first time saving dogs from the country of Mongolia!

We were contacted by volunteers who are trying to find forever homes for the homeless dogs.   These dogs have very limited adoption opportunities in Mongolia and they all seem like nice doggies that deserve a chance for a fresh start here in the states.

The process to bring these dogs into the U.S. is quite extensive and takes several months.   The dogs must get a rabies vaccine, followed by another rabies vaccine in four weeks, followed by a blood draw in two weeks, the blood sample gets shipped to the U.S. for a titer test.  The titer test can take up to eight weeks to get the results.  Then the C.D.C. needs an application with the titer test results, and it can take them up to six weeks to approve the entry of each dogs into the U.S.   Then we apply for a permit through the U.S.D.A. which takes another week for approval.  Then the dogs are ready to travel and the last step is clearing customs when they arrive at LAX.

It's a LOT of effort, and expense but we are hoping that if enough people will have a heart for these dogs, we can raise the funds to bring each one of them here.

No donation is too small to give these wigglebutts a chance for a fresh start and to find amazing adopters to make them members of their family!
