Goal

In October of 1977, Convair N55VM departed S.Carolina carrying one of the hottest rock bands in world history. After experiencing in flight issues, it crashed in Gillsburg MS. Sadly, it is still one of the most well known tragedies in music and world history.

Some survivors of that crash recovered, some better than others. Some were left behind with little help or ability to live a quasi normal life. After all, not many survive a plane crash.PTSD and collateral physical injuries can be a bad part of survival that no one talks about.

Today, they need our help. They were left behind. Yes there are stories, and there is reality. Reality is they were left behind.

As better humans and former road crew members, following the "code of the road", no woman or man should have been left behind. They should have been taken care of for life. They were travelling on an airplane leased by the band. They did not have a choice. Planes and busses are the mode of travel for most tours, even today. It doesn't matter if you work for the sound company, lighting company, if you were on band provided transportation, the band is/was ultimately responsible to make sure you were travelling in a safe manner. End of story.

Were here to help with things insurance companies, lawyers and business executives, never considered. Out of sight out of mind. They failed their victims.

If you survive catastrophic activity, you can. Sometimes its hard to forget and unsee bad events, and you can't.

It took some time for us to step up and organize. Between work, family functions, and life, it can be difficult to keep up. Here we are. Trying to leave the world a better place than when we came in. Thanks for being here to see what were doing, and or to help out. If you cant help, spread the word to someone who can, and thank you!
