After the last two years and navigating Covid-19, we are excited about 2022. With your support we look forward to growing our current programs and expanding our coverage area!
New programming will include:
Foster Forward
A program for Aged Out Youth (high school seniors to 21 years old). In 2021 we provided 2 $500 scholarships, we hope to increase both the number of scholarships and the amount in 2022!
We also are planning career fairs, and care packages for graduation, college move in day and more!
Car Seat Safety Program
We hope to certify at least 2 volunteers who can provide car seat safety inspections and educate caregivers on safe use of car seats. We also hope to obtain enough car seats to provide one for each caregiver when taking a new placement.
Kinship Care Support
We will be launching our Kinship Caregiver Support group in January and hope to provide Kinship caregivers with additional support and resources throughout their journey as relative caregivers.
Birthday Box
Providing each child in foster care with a birthday box filled with gifts, decorations, and treats for their special day!
