  • 75% of foster youth in Howard County are aged 12-21 years.
  • 80% of these youth live in non-traditional settings without parental support or family modeling (group homes,  residential treatment centers, etc.).
  • 75% of youth have been moved 3 or more times while in care.
  • 70% have changed schools 3 or more times.
  • There is inadequate public transportation for youth to get to jobs, college or vocational training.

These devastating facts are the driving force behind Foster A Future, Too. We exist to empower the foster youth community, and to bring awareness to a tragic reality so together we can provide the resources, education, opportunities, and love they need to thrive.

Giving back is important to Michelle Jaeger, founder of With A Smile who started Foster A Future, Too and donates a portion of every project’s profit. As she and her clients succeed, so, too, should this vulnerable population. The more we succeed, the more they succeed thus fostering a future, too.

With COVID-19 affecting so many, Foster A Future, Too has partnered with Voices For Children to provide back-to-school supplies.

All children have a right to a home with loving people to care for them.

100% of donations will be contributed to Voices for Children, Inc., a 501(c)(3), is the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program for Howard County, Maryland. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for contributions.
