Forte Prep Academy Board of Directors Presents...

First Annual Virtual 5K Run/Walk

Safely gather your family, friends, and a few neighbors and join us in raising funds for Forte Preparatory Academy. Together, we can help support our small school with big dreams in the heart of Queens! All you have to do is walk or run the 5K at your own pace any time between October 25-November 1, 2020, then record & submit your results through Strava.

Forte Prep's mission is: Through rigorous academics, quality instruction, and a positive culture of individual and collective responsibility, Forte Prep equips all students in grades 5 through 8 to excel in college preparatory high schools and to use their leadership and voice to change the world.

In these challenging times, our school's staff has stepped up to the challenge of providing for our student community both inside and outside the classroom. From organizing food drives to providing every student with a Kindle, Forte Prep knows that students need to feel safe and supported through all the difficulties of our current reality. Will you join us in raising money for this incredible school community?

Event Info & How to Register

This year, more than ever, Forte Prep needs you. We encourage each participant to raise $250, including your $25 entry fee.

1. Start by registering here on DonorBox by making at least a $25 donation. You'll be entered to win a ForteFast running hat. We'll collect your address to mail it to you if you win the drawing!

2. Share this fundraising page with your network on social media or email to help reach your individual goal of $250. Let your friends know to enter your name in the comments and use #fortefast #forteprep5k so we can share your posts and increase your impact!

3. After you register you will receive instructions on how to connect using the Strava App, where you will record your run/walk time and submit results any time between October 25- November 1, 2020.

4. Have fun!

The more the merrier, with the help of you and your personal community of friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, etc., we hope to crush our goal of $10,000 to build on our big dreams for our students and families.
