FORPAZ

FORPAZ (Friends of Riverside Park and Zoo) is a dedicated group of volunteers who work year-round to support and enhance one of Independence’s greatest treasures—Riverside Park and Ralph Mitchell Zoo.

Through fundraising, community events, and hands-on projects, FORPAZ helps maintain and improve these beloved spaces for families, visitors, and animal lovers to enjoy. Their efforts ensure that our park and zoo remain a source of pride, recreation, and education for generations to come.
