Objective - 

Honor Kristi by installing Heritage Benches in Knoxville's greenways and parks via the Community Heritage Program

Project Description -

Knoxville's Parks and Recreation Department has many beautiful greenways and parks that could be the ideal place to commemorate loved ones. Kristi revered the abundance of opportunities for using the Knoxville, TN greenways and parks for her many passions ... especially those of reading, reflecting, exercising, writing, and spending time with friends and family.

Many have inquired about a desire to contribute financially as a way of helping honor Kristi. The family has chosen Knoxville's Community Heritage Program to help fulfill that request. Through the program, Kristi could be memorialized by erecting additional benches in city parks or along greenways. Heritage Benches are 6 feet long with armrests with a custom bronze plaque. The plaque message would feature one of Kristi's favorite quotes.

Each generous gift, in lieu of flowers, will help provide a unique opportunity to create a living legacy in one of Knoxville's beautiful parks or along a prized greenway trail for all patrons to enjoy.
