Special Projects and Partner-in-Missions (PIM) commitments both play a vital role in supporting missionaries, but they function in different and complementary ways. PIMs are monthly commitments that are processed through our headquarters, providing steady, long-term funding that allows for careful budgeting and sustainability. Special Projects, on the other hand, come directly to the missionary and are often used for immediate needs or special projects that arise in the field—things like equipment purchases, building expenses, or outreach initiatives. Together they form a strong foundation that enables missionaries to respond to both ongoing responsibilities and unexpected opportunities.
