Goal
The Gaza Food & Play Project delivers food parcels and circus workshops to displaced families in Gaza.
Since 2024, we’ve delivered 1,812 food parcels across the Gaza Strip and organised 20 circus and arts activities for over 5,000 children taking shelter in camps. This has been made possible through your efforts in donating money and organising your own fundraising events. This campaign is delivered in partnership with the Beit Lahia Development Association and the Gaza Stars Circus School, with logistical support from Glór na Móna in Belfast.
The initiative builds on the success of Ride for Gaza, a round-Ireland cycle organised by ACLAÍ Palestine in 2024, which raised vital funds for food parcels in Gaza during the ongoing genocide. The cycle not only got the project off the ground but also became a powerful act of solidarity from people across Ireland to the people of Palestine.
Your contribution to this campaign will have a direct, tangible impact on the ground in Gaza, and we are very grateful for your support.

About ACLAÍ Palestine
ACLAÍ Palestine is a community gym and movement space located in the Lajee Centre in the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, West Bank Palestine. It officially opened in February 2020 as a result of the hard work of our team in Ireland and Palestine, and thanks to the generous donations of the many people who backed the project through our fundraising campaign and by running small fundraising events in their own communities. ACLAÍ Palestine provides a space for strength and movement training and circus skills for people of all ages who live in the Aida camp, and also provides exercise sessions for patients of the community health program run by the Lajee Center. The Lajee Center is a grassroots organisation that provides cultural, educational, and health resources for the community, and their services currently include a community soccer pitch, a garden and playground, a kindergarten, Environmental Unit, Music and Dance Unit, Library, Media Unit, Women’s Unit, and a Community Health Workers Unit.
